Giglix ("we") operates a Zimbabwean marketplace for verified piece jobs. We are the data controller for personal information you provide.
2. Information We Collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, password.
- Verification data: National ID number, ID document image, selfie photo.
- Profile data: skills, experience, business details, location, photo.
- Activity data: jobs posted/applied to, messages, ratings, receipts.
- Technical data: device, browser, IP, log data.
3. How We Use Your Data
To verify identity, match Workers with Employers, facilitate messaging and ratings, generate receipts, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with Zimbabwean law, and improve the Platform.
4. Lawful Basis
We process data based on your consent (verification documents), the contract between you and Giglix (account operation), our legitimate interests (safety, fraud prevention) and legal obligations.
5. Sharing
Verified profile information is visible to other Platform users to enable hiring and applications. Sensitive verification documents (ID, selfie) are stored privately and only accessed by our verification and moderation team. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Storage & Security
Data is stored on secure managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Verification documents are stored in a private bucket with signed-URL access only. We retain data for as long as your account is active and as required by law.
7. Your Rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent, or close your account at any time via in-app settings or support.
8. Children
The Platform is not intended for users under 18.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Platform. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We will notify users of material changes to this Policy via the Platform.
